Cookie Policy
The Cookie Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) is prepared in accordance with the current international rules and regulations in the area of data protection and privacy including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 “General Data Protection Regulation” (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), Directive 2009/136/EU, as well as Directive 2002/58/EU “Privacy and Electronic Communications” (ePrivacy Directive) and others. This Policy provides the Bitbon System User[i] (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) with information on why his/her personal data is collected and processed while he/she uses the functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure[i].
The Bitbon System infrastructure uses cookies and can also integrate with services of third-party providers, which place cookies relating to the provision of their services. This Policy provides the User with the information about various categories of cookies used by the Bitbon System infrastructure. As part of this Policy, the User is a personal data subject.
TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
The terms used in this Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the definitions given in the Appendix to the Bitbon System Public Contract Terms and Definitions in the Bitbon System Social Network, as well as with the following definitions:
Cookies mean a data fragment sent to a browser from a website the User visited. They are intended to store general information about the User’s preferences and help to adjust certain settings of websites to the User’s day-to-day user needs.
Personal Data Subject means a natural person, whose personal data is to be processed.
Personal Data means any information directly or indirectly related to a personal data subject. In accordance with GDPR, personal data of a personal data subject shall be:
- full name;
- date and place of birth;
- address of permanent and temporary residence;
- mobile phone number;
- information about family and social status;
- information about education, profession and occupied position;
- information about income and financial situation;
- biometric data;
- cookies (along with other personal data), etc.
PURPOSES OF USING COOKIES
Cookies are collected in order to:
- optimize the operation of the Bitbon System infrastructure;
- save settings and session data of the visit for further use of the Bitbon System infrastructure;
- analyze the use of the Bitbon System infrastructure by the User;
- select preferred offers/news;
- provide updates, special offers, information, newsletters and other data;
- monitor the User’s behavior in the framework of the functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure.
All collected cookies are used for specific above-mentioned purposes and only to the extent necessary for the complete functioning of the Bitbon System infrastructure.
Information gathered from cookies is used to evaluate the effectiveness and to improve the functioning of the Bitbon System infrastructure, analyze tendencies, identify issues that can arise when the User accesses the Bitbon System infrastructure. This information is required to improve the quality of the Bitbon System infrastructure.
Cookies are usually stored on the hard drive of the User’s device he/she accesses the Bitbon System infrastructure from and help to identify the correct device among others. An Operator[i] can also use the third-party service providers, who will place cookies on the hard drive of the User’s device, and obtain information providing data on what information resources of the Bitbon System the User visits.
COOKIES
The cookies register the following types of data:
Category 1: analytical cookies
Cookies from category 1 collect information about the use of the functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure[i] by the User[i], i.e. which pages the User browses most of all, and whether the User receives error messages on the pages. These cookies do not collect data that directly identifies the User. All information collected by these cookies is grouped, which results in its anonymity. Such information is used only for improving the functioning of the Bitbon System infrastructure. Cookies from category 1 collect information about the use of the functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure in the interests of Users. By using the functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure, the User confirms that placing such cookies on his/her device is possible.
Category 2: functional cookies
Cookies from category 2 allow the Bitbon System infrastructure to memorize the answers the User selects (i.e. name, language or region where this User is located) and to provide additional opportunities in accordance with the User’s individual preferences and needs. These cookies can be used to memorize the changes made by the User that had to do with text size, fonts used and other changeable parameters. The information collected by these cookies can be anonymous, and these cookies cannot track the User’s activity on other resources.
By using the functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure to set personal settings, the User confirms that using this functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure, cookies are placed on the User’s device to memorize his/her preferences.
Category 3: advertising cookies
Cookies from category 3 are used to display advertisements, which correspond to the User’s needs and interests the most based on the analysis of the User’s online movements. They are also used to limit the number of ads shown.
SETTING PARAMETERS OF COOKIES
The User can turn off cookies at any time: at the beginning of using the functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure or after giving the initial consent to save cookies. To limit or exclude the use of cookies, as well as to delete cookies that have already been set up onto the device, all the User needs to do is change the settings of the browser that is being used. By doing so, the User may be unable to use certain functionalities of the Bitbon System infrastructure.
Cookie settings may vary in different browsers. The User can find the way to change or disable cookie settings in the settings of the browser he/she is using:

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In the case of the arising questions regarding this Policy, one should contact the Support Service with a request in accordance with this Policy.
Amendments and/or additions to this Policy may be made solely under the rules provided for the Appendix to the Bitbon System Public Contract Making Amendments and/or Additions to the Bitbon System Public Contract.
If there is any discrepancy between various versions (printed, electronic, etc.) of this Policy, its electronic version published on the official information resources of the Bitbon System[i] shall be deemed the official one.
This Policy is translated into other languages only for convenience of Users. In case of differences in understanding and/or interpretation of this Policy, the Russian version shall prevail.
Only the Operators are entitled to give an official explanation of this Policy.
In accordance with Provision 2 of the Bitbon System Public Contract, this Policy is an integral part of the Bitbon System Public Contract and comes into force after its publication on the official information resources of the Bitbon System.
In accordance with paragraph 3 of Provision 2 of the Bitbon System Public Contract, amendments and/or additions may be made to this Policy only if such amendments and/or additions do not contradict the Provisions of the Bitbon System Public Contract and Appendices, which are an integral part of the Bitbon System Public Contract. Amendments and/or additions made to this Policy shall be published on the official information resources of the Bitbon System and come into force in accordance with the Appendix to the Bitbon System Public Contract “Making Amendments and/or Additions to the Bitbon System Public Contract”.
